BTW, for those of you saying the attack on the Pentagon was an inside job, that should be in another thread. WTC and Pentagon although they were part of the 9/11 attacks and two seperate things. Some people (including me) have varying opinions for each of them.

You can't use logic to win over conspiracy nuts or the religious.
Believing what they believe makes them feel good for a variety of reasons, and while it is possible to ridicule someone out of their beliefs, I'm not sure how possible it is to do so over the internet.

It's not an easy subject, that's for sure. Last week we held a classical debate about this very subject. I'm a history major student, and together with all my friends who take the same major, we had to defend creationism. It's so that it would be more fair obviously, but still, other students have to defend the Evolution theory, and the third group had to defend Intelligent Design. Guess who won that debate? We did, the "creationists". Now I'll be honest, the spokesperson backing Darwinism/Evolution theory could've been far better; he even made several mistakes which made some of us nearly fall out of role, but anyway... It made me realise even more that this is harder than it seems. Discussing this over the internet makes it even worse.

It's not a fair subject either. Of course the theory of Evolution is logical and has a whole spectrum of proof behind it, but that's simply not how religious people think.

Thermite residue was also claimed to have been found in the wreckage of the towers, but what was factually found is  molten steel, there are only certain substances that can cause a reaction hot enough to melt steel, which has a melting point of about 2,750 degrees Fahrenheit (1510 Celsius). Do the equations. Along with the MASSIVE amounts of evidence and eye-witness accounts along with the obvious corruption surrounding the 9/11 official investigation, it's easy to sway toward the inside job side (I can't even call it a theory because to me it is just fact...) I have done years of research on 9/11 and it'#s surrounding theories, I think if ANY of you who say it isn't an inside job had done the same thing you would all be like .... "Yo, this is definitely an inside job".

I know it's hard to wake up, but you need to. You must live quite sheltered lives if you still have faith in the American government or any government for that matter. I could list factual theories as long as my arm and that is just America alone...
