SA-MP 0.2.2 Discussion!

LVP is on the front line - everyone will come to LVP when 0.2 comes out, because it will already have all of these new features implemented. Other servers, however will have to spend months learning about the new stuff, and writing up the code for it.

Very nice though Peter! I know this gets asked ALOT, but any more info on a release date for 0.2? They can't really set one, because they probably couldn't stick to it, but is there any word at all coming from the dev team?

On a serious note, the amount of features added in actually seems a little extreme, but it will still be much better than it is now. I just hope not too many more people start joining the server, 100 people will be really annoying.

I dont like the whole personalised idea where one person can be in a sunny place and the other in rain. I like where we are all in the same environment.

So, is there still going to be a limit on the amount of vehicles that can be spawned? Will we be able to spawn any vehicle of our choice?

LVP 3.0 will definately be an improvement and i cant wait!

PS: Sorry if my post sounds too negative, there is just too many good things to talk about.

No, if two players are standing in the same place, then they would have the same weather. But, setting the weather allows you to simulate (as said on the sa-mp site) a cold front moving across San Andreas, or a band of rain, for example.

There is going to be a limit yes. But in 0.2, we will be able to use the CreateVehicle function (I think that's what it is),  which allows us to, hence the name, create vehicles AFTER THE GAMEMODE HAS BEEN STARTED. This will mean though, that we'd have to cut back on the spawn cars.
