TEF i didnt mean the simple cpu or ram usage - i could care less about them
its just the autostart that is slowing the pc startup down - thats why i try to keep absolutely everything disabled for autostart, even if its just a small program like whatpulse - if i'd turn all autostart stuff on for all my applications (msn, icq, irc, steam, g-data, alcohol 120%, RGSC, windows sidebar, virtual clonedrive, setpoint... ) my pc starts a lot slower then it does without all that.
The only thing loading while my current startup are the standard microsoft tasks, antivirus software (g-data), alcohol120% and the setpoint software (for my mouse).
