Thinking games of yesteryear are better is just nostalgia- honestly I wouldn't want to go back to those incredibly repetitive, thumb injury inducing days. I do agree that a lot if popular games aren't all they're cracked up to be (mainly fps games which i hate with a passion) but I defy anyone to play, say, Batman Arkham City and not marvel at the amount of work that has gone into it - superb gameplay, a brilliant score and a great storyline.

I'd rather play that again and again than any NES game.

Yeah I played about 15 minutes of Super Smash Bros yesterday and it ate up my thumb.

I miss my old consoles :( I had a Sega Megadrive with over 50 games back in 2008 :)
