Hey Guys,

The issue here imo, the only issue, was that the car had unlimited health and that it was able to be respawned 100 times a minute if the player wanted it to be. It was this alone that was causing the constant abuse. And the issue was constant abuse, not abuse now and again.

The solution is real simple...make the cars health normal and just put a time limit on how many times you can respawn it. Even once per minute would stop the sort of constant abuse that I was talking about where some players were literally respawning it every few seconds.

It is nice that people could get a decent reward for their achievement, and it is something that people want so no need to remove it completely or make it so lame that nobody wants it - just be sensible is all :)

thank you for stopping the abuse with the temporary removal of the car though, but hopefully we see it back soon in a more sensible form.

I'm glad you resort to this kind of reasoning, must be some truth in my arguments.

My last 10 posts are about a way to avoid /inf command abusing, and now you are posting this?

your method isnt effective against abusers as i told u in my last 10 posts. as u are saying u couldnt spawn inf when being in gunfight, there will be abusing like: someone chasing u when u low on health - nothing stops u spawn it. u in gunfight, u start running around corners without shootin ur opponent and whose bullets wont hit u through walls - again eventually u could spawn inf.

your method is basically from the point of view of a cruiser/non-DM-er.

i agree tris the health should be lowered so even if the person abuses it, u could jump on the roof of infernus and shoot it to flames. this would also be a solution that the person can stay in a car that has popped tyres and when low on health just spawns a new one.

Late reply, I know, I know! I re-read all of your comments and suggestions so I could get one solution that maybe everyone can live with. You can now only use /inf every 3 minutes and the infernus spawns with a regular amount of health.

Can't use it during a fight?

Thats great Mathias, i think everyone should be happy with this solution. It provides the convenience and *ahem* prestige of having your own infernus but will stop people abusing it to the level that they were before.

But what if people still do it while in fight? If they don't use it 3 minutes before the fight, they can do /inf while in the fight and flee.
