[I] /INF Infernus Abuse - Tris - 05-27-2012
Hello,
So we all know that by spraying 100 tags you get your own infernus that you can spawn at any time (which also repairs the car completely) and also the car has ridiculously high health so that its virtually indestructable (even a carbomb cant destroy it).
I know its nice for players to get this reward for achieving their goal but it is getting abused ridiculously by certain players ingame. Players are using the spawning of this car to avoid death for example if they are parked on and dying they just spawn the car and escape. If they are almost dead in a gunfight they just spawn their indestructable car and escape. They spawn their car and jump in the passenger seat and shoot from there with SPAZ. If you steal their car and try to escape from them they just spawn it right back and shoot you as you stand still after being ejected from the car. Worst of all is that they DB you from the seat of their indestructable cars while they are locked and their friend shoots from passenger seat at the same time and there is nothing you can do about it - you cant even blow their car up cos its indestructable. Ive seen players spawn cars like 10 times in the course of one fight before.
These are very serious issues and the system isnt working.
You should allow players to only spawn their car say every 1 or 2 mins and the car should not be indestructable. It should have normal health. This would stop the abuse.
Its getting ridiculous ingame now with the players who choose to abuse their cars just going on killing sprees and evading death anytime they are in danger of dying.
I should also add this this is very confusing for new players as well, as they try to kill people in these cars and they cant and they automatically assume the server is full of cheaters. Really not a good thing. Let them have the convenience of having their own car with personalised plates and spawn capability (with time limits like /tp or /dive currently has time limits) but that is reward enough.
So please fix this.

So when does this get resolved and what will the final outcome be? Will the car have normal health, 2x health? what?

It should be released very soon, even the iDM is almost ready, I guess. But wait for a confirmation from the boss.
