Yeah, kinda sick.. I don't know anyone on that camp, I think, but some of my friends got friends there, and it seems like most of them are alright.

Yes, can't believe this happened.

I had 2 friends down there at the camp, first they heard shoots then a Police man told everyone to come to him because they were ''safe'' in his position.. 30-40 people standing right in front of him and then he said; ''I'll kill you all!'' They were falling like birds, BUT, my 2 friends understood that something was wrong and ran away with a few others. After he killed most of them, he ran after those others (remember, was like 600-700 people there), my mate and his little brother (13) ran down to some clips/beach to try to hide/swim away from there.. But, at this point, my mate gets 3 bullets in his lounge/arm & shoulder, HE THEN screams to his little brother and my gf (Try to imagine his little bro watching this happening (13).),''RUN, you'll be alright!'' and 1 second after the gunman shoot him in the head and he falls into the sea, unbelievable. My gf & my mate's little bro ran far away, and then tried to find a safe spot to swim away to land.. And they actually made it in COLD SEA for like 300-400m. (!?!??!)

Several drowned when they tried to swim, people floating in the sea and the gunman running around hunting them like chickens, I hope he burn in hell!

If they even moved a little, he gave them a bullet just to make ''sure'' they were dead.. I also heard a story that allot of kids fall after the shooting, and 1 didn't get hit, and he was laying between dead and alive people acting like if he was dead.. And the gunman walking there shooting people RIGHT next to him.

My mate's little bro is in shock, he's at some mental hospital for that kind of stuff in Oslo. (It's really bad)

.. And my mate, he ''survived'' through the few hours he waited for help.. He's in coma at the hospital, and I hope he's going to make it, but it all looks like going the wrong way unfortunately.

My gf is alright, she's a bit shocked but she's a damn hard ass girl man! She's just amazing!

They are searching for people that drowned, because allot of people are missing, I'm sure if they find any the number of dead people will rise pretty high.

And the strange thing how he got to the island, he got on a boat with the M4 on his back, can't believe people didn't notice.. But if you look at it, everything he did was well planned out.


I'm fine, just this all coming as a shock to me.. Everyone in this community at Svalbard is as well, so.. Shit happens..

The only death penalty we have in Norway is when/if you betray the country under a war.
So what this man gets is 21 years in jail (wich is max..), but he's also most likely to get sentenced to what u'd call lifetime imprisonment (idk what its called in english)

If it where up to me i wouldn't put him in jail or kill him i'd like to gain as much information as possible and his intentions and the situation he grew up and make sure no one ever-ever-ever will be like this man again.

how do you get 21 years in jail and lifetime imprisonment? wouldn't it be one or the other?

Glad you're alright, Mafo. I believe he won't get 21 years in jail or even lifetime, because it would be a total absurd. There's only one option to make the right choice - his death. If the judge won't sentence that, then somebody has serious problems and should open their fucking eyes to realize that youths got killed for absolutely no reason, or even the fact that they had future, considering their age, like I said before.

By the way, local newspapers wrote that the man was a World of Warcraft and Modern Warfare 2 addict. What do you think about that relation?
