You can't play sa-mp forever :P

Edit: Actually, i used to play sa-mp on a old 7600GT and that was only getting 26-28 FPS maxed out (16xAA,16xAF) @ 1024x768. Ive read that the 7600GT is much better than the HD 4350 :P

Edit: Oh and yes it will fit into an open PCI-E slot, which you should have.

Edit2: Here's what you should've paid ($40 - $15 MiR): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814102867
And what you should've gotten for $50: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6814102843

If he bought it for $50 then he most likely got it from a retail store, for someone of his age he may not know how to order online or have anyone to do it for him, the 4350 isn't that great of a card but will work for SA:MP and some DX9 games, but is definitely not a card for hardcore gaming.

If you were him, what would you prefer to buy? I mean, i want to see the the craphic card which you called "hardcore gaming card". I'm thinking to buy a one, tho, that's why im asking. Can you give a link please?

ATI 4850 or above, 4850 can play almost any game maxed out to date, if not then definitely at high and is a very nice budget card, but if you want modern stuff for the next gen I would recommend HD 4890 or HD 5830 and above. Out of the Nvidia series as I'm quite obveously not much of a fan of, I would say go with either GTX 280 or GTX 460, hope that helps.

Small note: Remember, power supply plays a large factor in this and for all the cards I just named, a 600w or better power supply will do, preferably a common name brand as they serve the best quality and would be best for your system.

Actually the HD4650 would be bottle necked on his CPU, but would still be a significant difference on what he has even regarding his weak CPU, for pretty much the same price. (The 4350 is shittier than you probably think.) It would also be better for if he plans on buying and Call of Duty games as I believe he mentioned in a previous post.

But yeah if his only intentions are to play SA:MP and a few older games then he is fine with what he has.
