Not that I know too much about pc's, but Rien is right. I got a 600 dollar laptop, it's decent but not really for extreme gaming. So, to buy a real gaming pc should at least cost three/four times that must.

Meh, a laptop's always more expensive than a desktop, so 600 dollars will get you a much better pc than a laptop of the same price.

Maybe buy a second-hand? i got a dell inspiron 1501 laptop, it just manages GTSA-mp.... I agree if you want a pc that plays all the newest games its gonna cost you, so better buy a xbox-psp or something like that than, gl
