Well I've started getting better. Beat Aston Villa 3-0 and beat Unirea 4-1.

With the new PESedit.com stats Javier Hernandez is pretty good so I've been playing him up front and he scored 2 in the 4-1 He has 91 jump ability and 83 header ability.

Amended. His stats have improved a lot now though, I shall screen my current team tonight maybe

I played pes 1,2 and 3 but didn't start proper whoring the game until PES 4

I found it well hard buying players in pes 2010, in pes 2011 you can buy anyone pretty much. In the winter transfer window i sold loads of players and bought loads.

Bought: Dzeko, De Gea, C. Ronaldo, Bale, Shawcross, Diego (brazilian midfielder), Elia, Gourcuff, Hamsik, Ben Arfa, Pjanic, not sure if any more. But thats a good bunch of awesome players xD!

Sold: Rooney, Ferdinand, Valencia, Carrick, Evra, Scholes, Berbatov, O'shea, Brown, Owen & not sure if any more.

Seald deals already for: Ramsey, Wijnaldum and someone else.

Trying to seal deals for: Lukaku (duhhh) and Eriksen (some awesome 18 year old winger at ajax or some other dutch team i think)

I put transfer frequency to high haha but that is way too much

Started ML with Bayern Munchen (I know what you're gonna say now), bought Eto'o (his stats are high but in shooting he's just shit), some random defender which I needed for on the left, and some young keeper (Butt is gonna retire next season) from a D2 team.

I  gotta say that the first two days/first week tutorial is shit, and how they force you to buy some player which is just absolutely crap.

PS. Does anybody got a good tip/video for free kicks? got like 6 free kicks in one day, only scored 1 (was pretty lucky though, hit the wall and went with the fingertips of the goalie against the post and in)

1/6 isn't bad on freekicks.

Always aim to get the power bar to about half way obviously.

If its close pick a good FK taker with low shot power and hold down when you're taking it so he does a week freekick. Depending how much swerve skill they have you have aim a little bit further right to where you want it to go if you're player is right footed and vice-versa for left footed. Close freekicks are easier on pes 2011 ive scored quite a few.

Same principles for mid-distance but pick someone with higher shot power and do it normally except adjust aim for swerve again.

If its from 30-40 yards. High shot power again and hold forward as you shoot and he will hammer it at goal, you rarely score these.

I have an ok choice of freekick takers. Gourcuff, Bale and Diego all have about 85 over freekick rating.

I can't figure out how to save penalties though, my keeper always stand still no matter where i point and what i press.

Thinking of selling Ribery though, since he's crap (has an OK speed but cant shoot or cross for shit, so for me he's useless).

Also, do you buy young, bad players? Seeing as you're trying to buy Eriksen, which is pretty crap rated, do you like just play with it or does it get better season by season (stat related) or what?

I did expect more from PES 11 , just up to date players and teams + new passing system , thats about it .

I will get FIFA 11 soon , ive heard its way better than PES 11 , by the way - PES 11 for SP2 sucks .

Yea players get quick fast, i try and get them on subs bench or starting 11 if other players have bad rating. When you start a season make sure player development is on Dynamic. Then their stats will increase more with good performances. But if they don't get played their stats will still increase quite fast just not as fast.

I played Gourcuff almost every for half a season and about 5 games into this season. When i got hime his overall rating was 86 and now it is 94 xD and he is now my captain, vidic was before. So yea they raise pretty quick. I also got Javier Hernandez from 79 to 87 in 1 season.

If you don't intend to play it for long I would just buy any players that you want and like. If you intend to play it for a while get some good expensive players you like that are young and up coming like walcott, gourcuff, Elia, bale, hamsik etc and buy loads of young players to develop. That's what I'm doing its pretty good fun.

Managed to grab a lucky away win 2-3 against liverpool. Smashed Man city 3-0 in the super cup, beat Arsenal 3-1 at home and playing juventus away in the champions league when i get home.

Bought Ozil (had to get somebody which was pretty well rated, yet not too much money), and another 2 random players from D2 League (Overnoor from Joachnaard V.V. or something like that, and Hoyquamo (or something like that).

Anyways, I'll try and get some young players which hopefully would develop within the season (Eto'o was on loan so yeah.. )

I'll see. I'm playing PES on my xbox360, but it is a chipped one (which means i can download any game I want and burn it onto a CD and play it ), though my brother downloads the games and puts it on CD etc.
