It will run, i currently run windows 7 on a pentium 4 3.0 HT computer with 1 gig of ram.

But i would suggest to not do it. It will run that slow You won't be able to play games anymore, just like bluefox said.

It's not the processor that scares me, Pentium 4 is an awesome processor, overclocks like a dream. The only thing that worries me about that system is the amount of ram, 256mb of ram is too low, he shouldn't even be running XP with that it's simply too low.. 512mb is a strain on windows 7 I would recommend at least 1GB. Not the mention his on-board GPU is not windows 7 compatible.

First of all, I doubt the computer even has a DVD Rom.

Magic of getting it in a specific ISO form, but that kind of discussion is not allowed here.  ;)'

Also you clearly don't know shit, DVD has been out for over 10 years.

What? are you retarded? I said the pc is at least 8 years old, does it look like its been 8 years since 2006? Exactly, plus windows 7 shouldnt be laggy on ur notebook, install drivers maybe?

Sure, smartass. You know everything don't you? Stop trolling and giving ur shitty attitude to everyone faggot, it's getting annoying now. + start reading posts properly, so far I've seen you posting shit without reading it properly.
So what if DVD has been out for over 10 years, does it mean it has to be in every computer made in those 10 years? You clearly are the one not knowing shit, I bought my first PC around 2003, it did not have DVD rom and the PC was at least mid range.
I'm not sure if you can get stuff like lite W7, but it would clearly be useless as much as lite XP is. If you can't run W7, then you shouldn't, that's all there's to it.
