I actually made progress today, got to do the race but only with Lamar, apparently set a world record but then couldn't check the leaderboards.. and then it got stuck at the loading screen, so still haven't actually played online with anyone yet -_-

I did that race twice, since I had to recreate it and the last time it took too long. I did play online with people the second time and my character did show up in singleplayer (on the switch menu, the face showed) but next time I played that was gone too. So basically, still nothing.

My character shows up on the wheel sometimes, and I've never had to remake him, just nothing freaking works, hopefully they sort this out because from the videos I've seen online looks REALLY fun

Yeah, there are. I had to recreate my character 3 times and it's still not saving.. And most of the time when I try to start it, it says the R* cloud servers are unavailable.

Word. I even thought I should try midnight, when most are asleep. Not lucky at all. I also did the race twice because it hung up.

Im on it, the update delivered this morning to my xbox fixed everything, I'm almost rank 11 after playing a bit, awesome missions to do, they have races, death match, co op missions and team based stuff

Still no progress neither any patch on PS3...

1 week left until lectures start, and I couldn't even play a minute. But luckily my character has been saved, even the new clothes I bought. Trying to host a deathmatch myself now... let's see if that works^^

Hate to be the one to complain but im REALLY not enjoying this. I paid money for a delayed online which i was fine with because I thought that it would be for the best but It's been terrible, and here's why:

1. Its SO AMAZING when it works fully.. why is that bad? Because it almost NEVER does
2. Characters disapear, meaning properties, cars, weapons, and everything else goes with it
3. Microtransactions. They're saying its not going to be pay2win but I have my suspicions, mainly due to the next point.
4. MEDICAL FUCKING BILLS, EVERYWHERE YOU GO?? I literally have (HAD) earned almost 100k, and 60k of that was spent on medical bills. Everytime you die no matter where it is you get charged, even in TDM/DM. R* have apparently stated this is a bug but medical bills are still there and are still HIGH (anywhere up to 2k), so the risk really isn't worth the reward due to my next point.
5. Mission payout.. what the fuck is this bullshit? Medical bills can cost me up to 2k, yet you're going to pay me 1500 dollars to charge my way through 15 angry hillbillies and steal an RV. And my 198 dollar armour is gone by the time im finished, health and the 2k medical bill I had to pay dying once in the mission, I come out with less money. Not to mention in deathmatch where you get charged EACH time you die and get rewarded NOTHING compared to that. This really promotes players not doing any of these events, and not going anywhere near each other because we're all worried about losing money and being left to pistol whip unsuspecting enemies


Some stuff in there MAY be bugs, but medical bill prices clearly aren't, and the amount you get per mission really aren't, interesting how theyve recently just said you can buy GTA cash, I think R* are trying to milk us (THEY EVEN REMOVED THE MISSION REPLAY OPTION BECAUSE THEY KNOW PEOPLE CAN MAKE MONEY FROM IT) some more and Im someone who thinks really high of them usually, GTA V is literally a 10/10 but  the Online right now is as fun as Farming Simulator

I haven't experienced any medical bills yet. Nor do I find much of a problem with the payout so far. I haven't done all that many things but the ones I did paid just fine. No costs from medical bills or anything and mostly 3k+.

I did play online a bit the other day. I have the character I first made again even though it's a lower level now. I played for like 20 minutes this afternoon until it just stopped doing anything. After that I couldn't connect (still can't).

Yeah not all players got it, since the patch fixed it for some but not all, I've had to start again and now am having problems again so just turned it off
