I'm pretty sure France will have something to do with it... I mean, you can't tell me it's a coincidence that the tear is shaped _exactly_ like the north of France. It has Brittany, the Cherbourg peninsula and it just fits perfectly.

France has some of the Apls, the Jura, the Massif Central and the Pyrenees.
