I've always liked Defoe and I think he's too underrated. I'd have him at Liverpool any day. I'd rather us pay £35m for him than Andy Carroll.
If Fulham get him then they'd appreciate his talents more than Harry and he'll do good for them.
He won't get in the England squad as a regular because Capello is a moron. Rooney isn't prolific at international level and I'd much prefer Defoe than him.

I was on holiday and flying back and I had Liverpool vs Manchester City on one TV Wigan Athletic vs Sunderland on another and Tottenham vs West Bromich on another
