...the team isn't awful, they're just lazy. Roy Hodgson didn't motivate them to play and now under Kenny they are.
They have a lot of quality, all they need to do is use it.
Before Torres and Babel left, it was effectively the same squad that beat Real Madrid 4-0 two seasons ago, did the treble over Man U (including a 4-1 win at Old Trafford), and drew with Chelsea in the Champions League 4-4 at Stamford Bridge. We lost on AGG, but still scored 4 at their ground.
And Torres leaving wasn't the problem, it's that he handed in a transfer request just before the deadline, and wanted to go to a RIVAL. And he did this not long after signing a new contract and saying he honours a contract. He also said that if he ever left Liverpool, he wouldn't sign for another Premiership team.

Liverpool squad is awfull , you just have 3-4 real quality players now ( gerrard , reina , suarez , and maybe Caroll ) the rest of ur team is carbage
Torres was right to leave anfield , the current squad can't even compete for Europa league , torres is a winner not a mid-table player and im prety sure liverpool won't end in the top5 of EPL

No, we have plenty of quality players, main problem is too many of them were lazy for most of the season and no motivation to stop being lazy. Our defense has been poor all season, no one denies that. We have a good midfield, and our defenders can be good if they actually try.
We have Martin Kelly who's quality, Glen Johnson who belongs on the right wing, Carragher who's coming back from injury, Daniel Agger who has been injured for most of the season and we got the likes of Daniel Wilson who haven't been given much chance to shine yet.
And c'mon, top 5 of the EPL? No shit! We're a club who's just recently got rid of a bunch of asset strippers and were £300m in debt. This season we'll hopefully get into a position to qualify for Europe but next season, provided that Dalglish stays as manager, we could challenge for top 4-5 again. We have the quality to do it, and as I said, near enough the same squad that finished 2nd two seasons ago.
And Torres wasn't right to leave Anfield. He could have left in the Summer, but instead stayed until the end of this transfer window when Liverpool started putting in better performances.
He's a more quality version of Michael Owen.

Liverpool 2 - 0 Stoke City! 
Stoke didn't put up much of a fight, Jermaine Pennant had a good game for them though. Last time they played us, while Pennant was only a loan player, he set up one of their goals that won them the game.
This time, we won! Meireles got the first goal (3 goals in the last 4 games) in the second half and Suárez came on at around 67 minutes, had 4-5 bad first touches then got a nice goal and had a decent debut.
Chelsea vs Liverpool on Sunday at Stamford Bridge. I hope they do play Torres, that'll be a nice test for Kenny.

There's no way in Hell I'm gonna be missing MOTD tonight.
I was listening to the Everton vs Blackpool game (ended 5-3 to Everton), and there were some other great games (e.g. Arsenal 4 - 4 Newcastle).
