Android or iOS?
Tough, very tough. Both are fabulous and pretty much perfect for my basic needs
iOS: I really like the fact, that assuming you're running a supported device, you always get iOS updates. My ancient iPad 2 is running the latest OS, 9.3.2, but my not so-ancient ZTE phone is stuck with Android 5.0.2, missing out on 5.1, 6.0 and 6.0.1. Some may call updates pretty trivial, but I like keeping up-to-date
Android: It feels more customizable than iOS and generally speaking, I find a wider range of apps for things that matter to me.
