I heard a very convincing debate between a couple of the "truthers" and a couple of guys (one structural engineer, another scientist I think) that took down their arguments very quickly and soundly. Calling 9/11 an inside job is a very extraordinary claim, and (although this argument was I think first used against the existence of a deity), extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I see no such extraordinary evidence on the side of the truthers- I do not even see half-decent evidence.

Really? Not even the multiple eye-witness accounts of the planes? Not the found passport that magically survived and two big fucking steel towers didn't? Not even WTC 7 that was apparently hit by debris and set alight, fell to the ground in the exact same way?

"I remember getting a call from the Fire Department commander, telling me they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, you know, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is just pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building collapse."
