October Tide - Caught In Silence (Tunnel of No Light) 2013
I need some new material.
Sweet track man, thanks for the rec.
Anything recent? As of last year perhaps, Ex Deo
Ex Deo - 01 I, Caligvla - Caligvla (with lyrics)
Ex Deo - 03 Per Oculus Aquila
Have I mentioned Aeternam before? Melecheshy sound but lighter and not as amazing. Their albums are still worth a listen.
Aeternam - Coronation Of Seth
Been getting more heavily into Solefald seeing as they'll be playing Brutal Assault:
Solefald - Crater of the Valkyries
Aside from that, just single tracks here and there, ie
Nechochwen - Red Ocher
I'll take it you've heard Empyrium?
I haven't listened to them in a couple of years but they're good.
Ah, I don't suppose you've listened to Dead Can Dance either? Australian duo from the 80s- not metal but still fairly dark in sound ('dark wave'/postpunk/gothic type sound). Their 2012 album was very good, so they're still very much relevant.
Dead Can Dance - Indoctrination (A Design For Living)
Dead can Dance - A Passage in Time
Dead Can Dance - Anastasis [full album] excellent sound quality!
I'll just plug that Obsequiae album again too.
Final rec will have to be a couple of my favourite albums of all time, particularly within non-metal albums.
I've probably recommended a couple of tracks before, but the Alan Parsons Project's first two albums.
Alan Parsons Project - Dream Within A Dream / The Raven
The Alan Parsons Project - (The System of) Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether
The Alan Parsons Project-I Robot [Full Album]
