On the Sunday he was on the main stage and arm wrestled 26 people in a row without defeat.
23 of those were obviously piss-easy for him. One was the 110kg champ from New Zealand, who John beat fairly easily.
Another was an Australian powerlifter that could bench high 200s, maybe 300kg (can't remember exactly). Was close at first, but when they went to straps John exploded and beat him in a second, not sure how ready the other guy was but it was a good match.
The final match was against former European champ and now Strongman Lars Rorbakken- it was fucking close and after they put on straps, it lasted about 30 seconds before John finally won. Lars tore his pec in the process and had to withdraw from the two remaining strongman events on the day.
Thats incredible, his forearm and wrist strength is godly, even if arm wrestling involves alot of technique, to have the strength to come back from the sheer power against someone like Lars Rorbakken is simply ridiculous
Strongman, bodybuilder whatever, against John Brzenk, especially in his prime, they're nothing in an arm wrestle. Ofcourse John couldn't deadlift or squat or bench anything near to what they do though
