Until theres an reliable power replacement for neclear power it'll be around, at least for the next decade i'd say if not longer.
I see that more and more countries are investing in green solutions such as wind farms to power homes but in order to generate the power needed your gonna need a shit load of wind turbines, which at the moment just isn't really possible due to recession and cost. So yeah I see nuclear power being around for the foreseeable future.
The only thing I think is the way forward to get rid of neclear power is nuclear fusion but again until it becomes possible to use nuclear fusion it'll be nuclear power.
