I would obviously suggest building your own since you will save $200 and you will have a much longer warranty (lifetime on some components), but that's your decision.
For sure go with a Core 2 Quad, which is in the Asus PC. If this is going to replace your current PC then i would suggest to buy the PC and then upgrade the video card since the on-board video is really crap.
