That actually proves nothing. If Rockstar hasn't announced the release date yet then obviously it wouldn't be on the list, if it does come out this year.

Which I highly doubt.

My bad, I meant; these are the competing titles, being released this fall. And this could have a negative impact on the sales figures of gta v, if gta v also gets a release date in fall 2012.

Rockstar might be at E3 this year, hopefully.

Well they have said a few times that E3 is beneath them. If Rockstar was to do their own show similar to E3, it'll probably end up being more successful then E3.

Rockstar might make a surprise appearance, wouldn't be the first time. Whatever happens, I think we will hear alot of V news once Max Payne is released next week.

That does scream 'fake' to me but you can't actually rule R* out of making an appearance. It wouldn't be the first time they've made a surprise appearance at E3.

And as for anyone who hasn't heard or read, apparently a GTA V vehicle list was outed on the GTAForums here. Note that it isn't the complete full vehicle list, just some... and probably some that won't make it into the game.
