Well I've experimented with skins, particularly overlays ( that includes scopes, aiming reticles, etc )

it's a little edgy, but that's due to my resolution I guess, also I fail at making good circles in Photoshop

It's much easier if you use vectors.
The scope itself isn't that great to begin with.
