If you do get a new computer, go with a HD 4850 instead of the two 8600GT's.

And you really should build your own computer instead of buying a pre-built like you listed above. You'll get better parts this way at a cheaper price.

I'd love to be able to but im not sure whats compatable with what whats good and bad ^^ Im not a technical person more a graphic person

btw: The GTX 280 from NVidia is available for 330€ now, (at release date: 500€)

And you know the problems with SLI? Needs more power(watt), AND ITS NOT 200% of one card.  It depends on the game. Sometimes its +30%, sometimes its +80%, sometimes its -5%.

A single, stronger card is better in every case.

The 750i and 780i series are not crap, they are actually very good, especially since they are the higher up versions of the 650i and 680i versions which were the best at the time they released.

Its still overpriced so i would never recommend getting it.

Not when your running 1920x1200 on a 24"+ monitor since the huge performance increase in SLI is when running a game at very high resolutions.

If there is no "stronger" card than a SLI with two "small" cards, then you have to choose SLI/Crossfire, ye. But i meant, if you have the option between in example  2 8600GTS for 110€  or a 9800GTX for 120 or a HD 4850 for 130, so you would never choose the SLI with the lower cards

PS: If you want to play on 1900x1200 with AA and AF, you'll need crossfire/sli, your right.
