I've been playing V multiplayer a lot recently actually.
Not without its issues but it's generally very smooth and fun, if you have enough money for weapons.
IV's got the strongest story for sure, definitely worth a play or two. I've been craving playing it again- the missions are best in V but IV has some great ones too.

I played online for first time yesterday and wasn't really impressed. The way they made the character creation wasn't all that great, it would have been better if it had more customisation. After the intro missions I tried to do a job and clicked join but it kept making me host instead Managed to do a race though without trouble(not intro).. the intro one was actually quite funny I got spun out at start then the same guy spun out and I finished 1st  Also some other douche decided to try and take me out but ended up flying past instead onto another road

But yeah I'm guessing it'll get better after I've played it a bit more
