Was having a nice chat with Luna and Delic yesterday on LCS and thought id make a topic about it too, post any scary stories you've either read and really liked (creepy pasta, random bullshit you've heard from friends or people on the internet) or personal experiences

I'll start with, argubly the best creepypasta there is, a long read but DEFINITELY worth it for me anyway:

Obviously there'll be alot of calling people out on any personal experiences but ill post something which happened to my sister in our hold home:

-She was about 14 in our old home alone one day as my parents were out probably collecting me from school as i was 10 at the time.
-Shes on our only PC doing god knows what with no internet connection
-She said she must have been really into what she was doing at the time, probably a game because of her initial reaction to the event that followed
-She said she clearly heard her mums voice call her from the toilet, which was about a metre away from her room, and her door was wide open as always so she could hear when my parents got home downstairs
-She says "what" while continuing on the computer
-After a few seconds she runs up to her door screaming and closes it, putting whatever she could find infront of it to block it
-She had realised that there was no one inside the house but her, so whatever she heard clearly call her name in her mums voice WASN'T our mother
-She gets to the egde of the room and calls my parents who are already driving back home anyway
-They get home, walk upstairs and check the whole house but no sign of anyone else being in the house but her

To this day she swears she heard someone in the house call her name in exactly her mothers voice, but nothing like that ever really happened to her again apart from the odd nightmare about it



Post your worst! I'll use the best shit posted in here when i go camping in summer to freak the fuck out of people

EDIT: For anyone thats going to call 'bullshit' on anyones personal experiences, take in mind the topic is for scary stories, my sister could have just heard something similar sounding to her mother etc, im not saying that there was a doppleganger or something in the bathroom, but to be in that situation would be 'scary' to argubly all so anything that qualifies as such can be posted here, regardless of whether it can be dismissed as fake or whatever

Nemesis, the story from that link is pretty good but something doesn't make sense. When the "thing" comes out of the bathroom and he's watching it while pretending to be asleep, this thing is supposed to look like one of them humans right? Or did I miss something?

yeah otherwise it wouldn't make sense that all the times it was hiding amongst them they never noticed. maybe it was just lonely and wanted a friend...

But following that logic, he would have recognized who it was disguised of, but there's no mention of it. I like the idea of the story but there's something missing that doesn't add up so it's probably just some wrote up creepypasta.

The reason they didn't suspect who it was is because no one person knew everyone else in the group, so they just assumed he was just a friend of the cousins or whatever

Your sister's story reminds me of one I've read before. Guy/girl was at his house downstairs and hears his/her mother calling him/her from upstairs, he was starting to go up the stairs the door behind him/her starts opening and it's his/her mother entering home with groceries or something. Not saying it didn't happen to your sister, just recalling this.
