Euro 2012
Yeah, it was indeed one of the best matches, and, without being afraid of being wrong, I can dare saying Germany vs Italy on Thursday will be even better (possibly the best match in the entire tournament). For Wednesday's match, I'm going for Portugal even though that's going against all odds.

Just watched the match, and to be honest, it was fucking boring lol. Didn't expect Portugal to do that good against Spain, yet in the first 90 minutes both teams were pretty equal (and played equally fucking boring).

in the extra time, Spain got the better team, and therefore deserved the win - although i think that today's performance of both Spain and Portugal are nowhere near the performance they need to deliver in order to win the title - be it Germany or Italy in the final.

PS: Does anybody know what C.Ronaldo said after Fabregas scored the final goal? There was the camera on him, he moved his lips and said something, did anybody decipher it or did the guys who commented on the match in your country translate? im kinda curious :)

I indeed didn't expect Portugal to hold all that time, Spain played way weaker than they usually do (if they "good" football is boring enough...), even though they had a great chance which Rui Patrício sent away. Portugal also did have a great (their best) chance near the 90th minute in a counter attack, which Ronaldo gently sent out by just a few hundreds of meters, lol. But this is really interesting, I'm hoping Germany to win tomorrow against Italy so that they can get their payback on Sunday. Fuck I'll enjoy that. Oh and after reading a bit, found that Germany has never beaten Italy in neither Euro nor World Cup, even more interesting!

Damn tbh i expected Portugal to beat (cuz they had 2 more days break and Spain was tired).Anyway today i think Germany will beat (they also had bigger break than italians and Italy are tired cuz they played 120 mins against England).Spain - Germany is the final :D and i hope Germany will win

He said something like "So unfair". And after all, even though I'm suspect for the obvious reasons, I agree with him. I think the match during the first 90 minutes was kinda even. Spain still have good occasions of making goal too, but they were for a long time without applying their game "style" properly. The 30 minutes of extra time, as has been said already, Spain was definitely better.

Then the penalty executed by Bruno Alves hits the crossbar and he doesn't score, while Iker Casillas had absolutely no chance of defending that ball. In the last penalty of the match Rui Patrício still "guesses" the side that Cesc Fàbregas shoots to, once again the ball hits the post, but this time he does score.

Portugal's getting specialist with shooting against the post lol, even against Germany, Holland, Czech Republic we manage to do it, but that's how the football is. Spain is obviously a great team, but they still had some luck. I am still proud of what our team was able to do and let's wait for the 2014 World Cup. :)
