What is your favorite shooter game?

There's no Battlefield, no Duke Nukem, no Red Faction, no James Bond...

And you didn't say what you class as a "shooter game", which made me notice you also missed out games like GTA, Scarface, Mafia, and The Godfather. And provided we're talking about guns, Assassin's Creed and Fable had guns (later in the series).

Oh and since we're talking about shooting, what about FIFA or PES? You shoot on that. You don't use a gun on them, but you never said the game had to have guns.

I see you're listing game titles by series, so if someone liked one Call of Duty but hated the rest, they'd have to vote as if they like all of them. I only ever liked the first Call of Duty.

Why not include third person shooters too? You included Call of Duty and Medal of Honour as well as Time Splitters, so I'm assuming you aren't just talking about army-type shooters. If you aren't limiting the options to army games, why not take the limit off first person shooters and allow games like GTA and Mafia?

I've only played Red Faction 1, not the others so I don't know about them, but on RF 1 there is a third person view but it works best in first person, so you might as well include that. And then there's Duke Nukem, Doom, Quake, James Bond, and Battlefield. They're all first person shooters.

Half Life and it's sequel are the most fun I've had on any first person shooter, for single player.

For multiplayer though, either L4D2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, or CoD4.

Half life 2 and Episode 1+2 are the greatest Single Player shooters I've ever played
For multiplayer.. lots of great games obviously, but my favorite shooter has to beeeeee Bad Company 2
