[I] Property Earnings Collection

Right now when you buy a property you get paid out every minute (or 2 minutes, whatever, it's every minute again in 2.94 anyway).

This is all well and good, but wouldn't it be more fun if players had to go and collect their earnings from the property? The earnings of that property build up and up every minute. You can go and collect the earnings whenever you want. So, if you left it for 10 minutes, you would get 10x the earnings.

When someone eventually buys the property off you, the uncollected money left at the property would just be given to you.

What do you guys think?

"10x for 10 minutes" that sounds more bank filling than the old system.

It's a good idea, and I'd recommend it over the current 'Stand on the ship and get money' technique that I notice a few people do quite a bit.

Would the money go straight into the bank accounts upon collection? Or go to the player's pockets?

It would make the money system that bit more harder, players would have to go and get the money, instead of sitting around getting paid (like benefit sponges). It will also make it a bit harder for those who have properties outside of LV or in the middle of nowhere.

It might also reduce idlers.

People would sit there running circles camping out the area where you get pick up the money, once you leave that zone, boom, dead, blah.

Just keep things simple. You'll attract more players with that, instead of making things (very) complicated.

I like the idea, sounds like Rien's suggestion for the IV:MP server. Just tax the money sitting at their properties after about 4-5 min if they don't pick it up. Autobanking is a way out of paying tax too

I would like to make a suggestion.  It has been difficult to go the properties you've bought. So, when the player does some command to check his property locations, there could be some blips on his radar.
