For me maintaining such a list would be a lot of extra stuff to do and does not sound appealing. It could have an on and off switch, but we should not make a spam thing anyways.

I think we better turn that around, instead of adding people, have a list of people which you don't want to receive anything from

Pwnage idea!!
I always hate it when i need to remember MSN or w/e nicks to contact players that ain't online at a speccific moment. This really should get some priority (well should not be a problem since badeend loves it)
