#1
Okay so, today, I installed some weapon mods that some people shared. and now, instead of having a deagle on my screen, it looks like a white ak-47. i downloaded a different desert_eagle.dff/.txd and replaced it again and nothing changed. same thing happened with micro uzi. it looks like a white sawnoff on my screen, i tried to replace it with another one that i downloaded nothing changed...any thoughts?

Options:
1.Make sure u replaced the .dff and the .txd file correctly
or
2.Reinstall your game

dont reinstall ur game rofl. . . bad advise is bad

When a car or weapon becomes mostly white its because the game cant find the texture
Thats cos when u replace files with imgtool the files gets messy, like a messed up registery

What u have to do is rebuild the archive, its under commands in the program.
IF that doesnt work then install the originals and try again.
(Always back up stuff before u mod)..

not if you know what your doing.

What i always do with texture files is open them up with txdeditor to see whats in them, and if all looks good go ahead with replacement.

1. i use crazy IMG tool since i don't like IMG tool
2. it's either because u replaced the .txd file with the .dff and gotten it messed up
3. or u didn't rebuild ( u have to rebuild everytime after you put the mod inside ur gta3 file)

Retarded advises are retarded.

You just need to download original desert_deagle.dff/.txd off the internet...
