And the point is... asking for questions here is all well and good. But you're not going to get a massive list of questions.

Therefore the same questions will be repeated on the server and it will be very boring and annoying after a few days, unless you bother to waste your time and everyone elses to do up a list of questions every week..and the problems that comes with that, with people giving wrong answers etc.. you going to check them all? Then theres the problem with spelling and grammer...

There is an easy solution.

On IRC.. there are many quiz type scripts that people have games in channels.. If you look up these scripts you will get a lovely text file with a shitload of questions and the answers from all different types of genres of your choice

These lists can be opened in a text editior and a few find&replace will give you the massive list of questions in the formatyou want in a matter of minutes.

Far better easier solutuon in my opinion.

Yes, and of course my way doesn't have any sa:mp type questions either - but sorry, after reading through these questions alot of them suck and are wrong...

Apart from the obvious spelling mistake its also wrong. Bill Gates was a co-founder along with Paul Allen.

Alot of the questions posted here are of so bad quality that its clear they're tought up by children Even if they're not, they're at the level.  Meh, I gave my suggestion, quality control is your problem, and wow does it need it.

I know its a game and shouldn't be taken that seriously.. but it doesn't excatly look good on the server or gives out a good image when questions with bad english and wrong answers are used. Has many negatieve effects.

which is why I said only the good ones will be used & silly answers will be fixed

While the examples might be childish, the suggestion on itself indeed seems to be valid and should be taken into consideration. Therefore we reverted the decision to trash this topic.

Can you remove my access to the Beta forums please? No hurry. As I said I don't want to be involved with wasting my time suggesting things just to have them deleted. Know it has been restored in a seperate thread buy I don't like the path LVP has gone down recently, which is my own personal hangup. No need to change the #lvp.beta passwords or anything, I'm not a dick.
I now prefer to spend the few minutes I would typing up something on LVP watching a 2 cats having sex (google for it, good stuff)

And before I go I still think my above suggestion is the logical approach.

Look at its this way.  At the moment we have the 'math' and 'first one to type' game. The charm about these is that they are different everytime.

With the questions, which is a good idea, you would need a pretty long list of them, at least 300+. 
At the moment you have a tiny amount that would last a day? 3 days later and the players will be sick of them.

And that 300+ would only last for 2, maybe 3 weeks without them repeating alot, getting boring and people knowing the answers because they've been answered already so many times.  So it would end up annoying players in my opinion and will make the server 'stale' in the sence its something everyone can see not being updated.

So.. in a month or so, if you don't want the questions to start to suck you're going to have to make up another 300 questions... which costs time for the people typing and for the Devs who have to update the script.  Then in another month again, and again...  its not practical.


And my suggestion, which was deleted, was to spend 15 minutes getting a list of approx 5000 questions at a difficulty and genre you want via IRC quiz scripts, then your sa:mp or whatever questions can be thrown into the mix.

15 minutes of one persons time v's a fair bit(fair to say hours over the coming months combined?) of other peoples time via typing + posting them and the Devs updating the server. And on top of that you have a nice big set of questions that are fresh always on rotation with no worries of them being looped/used too much.

But maybe you're right and its silly suggestion so you might aswell just delete it.
