Testing of Las Venturas Playground 2.92 Alpha 1: Sunday 2nd May 2010 6:00 GMT
That's 7PM British Time, 8PM Dutch time.
The first milestone is a file structure improvement. This involves relocating a lot of functions and handlers to improve efficiency and effectiveness of future development.
This will be a general test of LVP. That means you need to test LVPs current features, like minigames, properties, vehicle exports, etc. Whilst we're there, some additional LVP 2.92 features to test:
* New death messages
* Rampages now are with Uzi and Sawnoff, and have a 4 minute limit
* New weaponpacks in the '/random' minigame
* Added 7 new achievements related to lamekills and to the fightclub
* Added /tefhint
* The FightClub-Handler is now in world 0, and now there's a huge cage around it
* Fixed /p id hide
* Added /gbank [withdraw/bank/balance]
* Third kind of reactiontests: Questions! (Note: This is a WIP and has been taken over by Jay)
* Bonus Times added.
* Added /time
* Added /hideme for regulars
* Fixed the bug where you would walk around after dying for a few seconds with 0 hp
* Fixed a small bug where the rampage would end if you hit somebody to death
* Made it a bit easier to get speed bonuses (Matthias)
* Fixed the 'You have to wait 5 seconds to detonate the bomb...' bug with not armed vehicles
* /gang info now the gang leader
* The FightClub is now a vehicle free zone
* Your gangbank now gets filled with $50.000 every min if you own the gangbase
* If you fail to login, your name will be changed to LVP_RandomNumber
* An admin dialog with options like kick/ban/jail/mute/unjail/unmute for admins when they click on a player at the score tab
* Fixed the bug where a grenade still does damage after exiting an interior
* Objects are now streamed.
* Map zones are now free and have a new object preloading system (WIP by Jay)
Note: The next Milestone (Alpha 2) may not be for a while because it involves a lot of cleaning up of the source. We'll post more details when we're ready for another organised test
