why not just have a punish system on it?
if it was possible to see who carbombed of course? oll:
if they detonate us, while we fighting others. we laugh, but we get sick of it eventually.
why shouldnt we be able to detonate them on spawn

Next to that, I'm quite sure I'm the player that has been carbombed the most, probably 99.9% by bubbles.
So this carbombing issue really isn't that big...

I do think there should be a certain timelimit after you carteleported (as mentioned by Nanook/bubbles), so you can't detonate instantly after carteleporting to your target (that's too easy).

I know that can be quite frustrating, but yeah...that's the whole purpose of a carbomb.
Let me quote wikipedia:

A car bomb is an improvised explosive device placed in a car or other vehicle and then detonated. It is commonly used as a weapon of assassination, terrorism, or guerrilla warfare, to kill the occupants of the vehicle, people near the blast site, or to damage buildings or other property

(And I think we can all agree on the fact that bubbles can be placed in the group: Terrorists)

And like I mentioned before: preventing someone from detonating right after he/she carteleported, should rule out actual "lame kills". I agree, carbombs are a bit lame, but hey, it's part of GTA.

Not to mention that the bombshop is one of the best features on the server if you ask me. Finally some fun. Come on, really, no one is going to tell me that you don't like driving your bombed car into the gangfights that occur infront of the ship. Your problem if you're fighting there (it's a crap place to fight anyway).

Another thing I've seen in this topic is the possible punishment option.. A huge no to that. I even think heli-killing shouldn't get punished. It's fun. Drivebying though and all of that shit are okay to stay as a lame-kill with a punishment.

You're intelligent... you give suggestions which allows you to continue bombing us! You want to /ctp, drive for 10 sec then detonate! When someone /ctp to a gang war, everyone should run away due of risk of being detonated?

Well DURR. Besides, that would be funny as fuck. I'd even love it if that would happen whilst I'd be playing in a war. It's SA:MP, really, not a freaking e-sport supported game. Sorry to say, but if you really want to play competitive and stuff instead of just playing a war for fun, then this game isn't the place to be.

Think restricting the type of vehicle allowed to be armed is going too far, especially with how the LVP vehicle spawns work.

The fun is the hunt, can't do that in a tractor

I was thinking about this earlier. But then I remembered the amount of times I've hidden around a corner, waiting for you to drive past and bomb you with awesome stealth, I remembered how much it would ruin the fun

Another valid thing about having a 5 minute limit highlighted by Jay himself...sometimes people gang up, and start to defend the bombshop, often buying bombs to stop people like me getting bombs.

A time limit is going to ruin the bombshop defence aspect which would actally make it easier for people like me. 

And that would be even more doable with the new system Jay, look deep inside yourself, do you really want to destroy it all so a handfull of people will have an extra minute before they go boom again?

Giving the explosive vehicle a neon colour or a specific colour code will completely destroy carbombs. The fun part of car bombing is getting those that aren't expecting it. If you see a car is bright green then unless you're new you will realise that's a carbomb (or think it is) and run away.
