You're Dutch, right? Don't they allow 16 year olds to ride 50cc motorbikes?

When I went to a bike showroom to see what bike I could get, look for nice ones, prices etc, I saw something on a wall which says 16 year olds also get free insurance up until 17 or 18 or something like that.

If Holland allows a lot of people to lose their minds by eating cakes, and 16 year olds to start drinking alcohol legally, then surely they'd allow 16 year olds to ride slow 50cc motorbikes.

50cc motorbikes are pretty weak too. I've tried one in the bike showroom, an Aprillia RS 50cc (the one I originally planned on getting prior to going there), nice and easy to handle if you've never tried one. But if you've used a scooter it would probably be easier for you to use it for the first time than it would for me.

This is something similar to what my mates got, well, a few of them have actually .. just cruise around on them down the docks and shit .. or on road at night .. you wanna get one they're pretty fun.



You can get road legal ones aswell but you gotta pay tax and get it M.O.T'd all that crap.

Ahah dirtbikes. Right by my chosen bike I saw an Aprillia dirtbike, think it was 50cc aswell.

Only problem is, they're ugly things!

They aren't beuties either lol. But yeah they can go at a nice speed. I've only ever been on the back of a normal motorbike, which was my older brother's first ever bike he got at around 17. Due to him only being 17 he couldn't get a really fast one but it was still nice.

Back home I have a 1980 Honda XR500. That thing has terrible compression, the rear bearing is out and spills more oil than Exxon. But, it'll still climb up a tree.
