Im kinda looking for one aswell and I thought of host-europe.

It's www.hostwoot.com .. really good and the cPanel is the best I've ever seen, and I've seen alot. If you go for the pro package like me, it's 15 posts in the forum a month for unlimited resources .. except the bandwidth and space is limited to 10 GB bandwidth and 1 GB storage.

Although I think you can upgrade, there is no need tbh, I've got unlimited MySQL databases, unlimited domains, add-on domains, sub-domains, email accounts, FTP accounts, etc. etc.

Plus you get all the website software, Softaculous auto installer (if you choose to use it) Ruby on rails, Php5 phpMyAdmin, etc. .. really good. and like I said, usually I'm getting 99+% uptime, here is my report for last week (just as DDoS came in)

Well 1GB webspace aint enough, i might have a look at the paid plans.

Is Perl/CGI scripts allowed?

The hosting plans look nice though, i might try out a free one and then get a paid one once im satisfied with it

Perl/CGI is allowed .. I was going to take a nice screenshot for you off of my cPanel but that's down too. Had word from the owners he says it's a problem only on server1 .. some issue with the DC.

Yeah 1 GB is loads lol ... well enough for me. You can buy more space I think, very cheap, I don't think you'll be disappointed by their service

Btw Hitman, if you want to pay for hosting you should try rackunlimited.com .. $15 dollars a years for some serious resources.

Anyways, page updated. Some shit going on at my host with the server being down so had to switch hosts temporarily, check out the link in the first post for the DL.

I already went for a german webhosting site, there im getting 20GB Webspace, unlimited traffic, 16 MySQL, PHP & Perl support and 4 TLDs.

~80€/year  but who cares, school is paying it xD
