But why is it only in the last hundred or so years are they now just getting 'sighted'? I don't think they have any 'sightings' from before aircrafts were invented, or at least don't know of any recorded possible findings.

Aircrafts are only like 105 or something years old, so surely people must of gotten curious when they see things flying through the sky and couldn't see if it was a comet or anything, yet when there have been possible sightings it's near America.

And wouldn't Japan be advanced enough to have sighting claims? Or somewhere in the poles where scientists go to get away from the light polution?

Governments rule the world, the rule the media, the rule all information that is there for the public to see .. you think Governments of the world want people to know about this kind of stuff? No. You know why I think it is? Because they don't know much or anything about this shit either, so therefore .. they have a weakness against other countries .. maybe they think that if one country finds a way to use whatever intelligence is out there and harness it to be used in bad ways against other countries .. so then everyone is secretive. Or maybe nobody really knows wtf is going on and they're all trying to build their own spaceships in a bid to prepare themselves against whatever is out there .. maybe they have been in contact with "Aliens" and the story I first posted was true .. lets say it was for a moment .. put yourself in the position of a Government .. who has just been attacked by an Alien species .. on it's home planet they Aliens have then said that they would come back at whatever date .. what would you do? Tell the world let everyone panic and destroy the world themselves .. or, prepare for the Aliens return and keep it secret. Just throwing idea's out there.

I'm not blindly ignoring any possibilities, but just saying that the site you just posted went a bit over the top. If UFO's are sighted as much as that site claims, how would keeping a secret help when it's already on a site? The internet is full of people who believe every little thing they read, so it's easy to have people running riot as if it was true, without governments telling people.

Actually, there has been loads of sightings. They only 'recently' (60 years) got all this new attention when some US pilot saw 7 things near some mountains when he was flying. He described them as 'skipping like saucers' or something along the lines of that. But theres been many reports before that, theres a weird painting from germany in like the 1600s, which alot of witnesses saw. Of an apparent battle in the skies . Also, you could say that accounts of 'flying chariots' etc were UFOs, since that was they would see them as. Also, there are alot of ancient tribes, who on their drawings have some pretty weird shit. Like things that look like astronauts, drawings made in the sand that can ONLY be seen from above! (No cliffs/mountains nearby, no stuff to get in air etc). And one of these things this tribe in south america made in the sand, looks alot like an airfield! lol. Pretty interesting stuff, if you want to learn more google 'ancient aliens' or something along the lines of that!
