Just a little comment about a known problem...

Sometimes when you crash you loose all your properities... this has been around for ages but before 2.9 it was a 1 in 10 thing.

These days everytime I crash I loose them, which is annoying.  I think its something to do with the auto login after you reconnect within a certain time limit as the prop bots on IRC still show the properties as registerd to you??

Maybe disable auto login after a crash for a couple of days to see if thats the problem?



Also, I know Jay (I think) edited the property payouts - with much lower values.  I don't have a problem with that, if you want people to have less money its all good, but some properties are taking the piss.. an example is OOOOOOOOOshies moonshine factory. Costs 5 million and pays out 50k a minute. Think a couple of people need to sit down one night and revise the property costs and payouts to work out a good balance?

We're currently discussing the property earnings and may place some restrictions on the command. We're also considering a completely new property layout, you'll here more soon.

The property saving issue is interesting. Are you certain you don't get your properties back? The "Your properties have been restored since you have reconnected within 10 minutes", or whatever the message was, has been removed, but you still should get them back...

100% certain you loose them all, no money and /my props indicates you don't own any.

As i said before it was a rare thing, its far more common now.

Oh and as i said before but I'll make it a bit more clear...

Xanland has a channel/property bot, if you crash and loose your properties the property bot still shows them as registered to you. Just think this is worth mentioning as it may help if finding the problem

Just a thought, but, have you ever considered the possibility that the prop bot problem is something on Xanlands side. Since he is not affiliated with LVP Development (afaik, correct me if im wrong) he has no access to LVP code.

His code is based on the savehandler working correctly 100%. Seeing it doesn't, it says you have your properties restored whilst you didn't.

So let me get this straight: the server says you have your properties restored, and you don't? So it's properly registering the property restore request, but failing to actually restore the properties?

That I don't know, was just explaining for the bot. I'll go test it now.

Edit: Bought a property, /q'ed, rejoined. Got autologged in but no property restore. It didn't say it did nor did I have it.
