Spurs and deadline day seem to be a match made in heaven, why oh why do we always leave it till the last day. We've had 3 months and it comes down to some last minute scrambling, again...

Point is you only saw this on the Madrid match.. and its all caused becouse referee was ignoring pepe kicks & some actions... Like i said.. take an eye on any other barcelona match (not vs madrid) and tell me when they dived ^^

u'd be surprised !

This is one of my favourite recent dives from C.Ronaldo. :)

Ronaldo worst dive ever Real Madrid vs. AC Milan Champions league 2010

It beats some of the ones he did at Man U.

Not for long though, after seeing how England did in the WC. They're getting worse.

Lol I know, England sucks and they love injuring Gerrard. I don't think I've ever seen them that high up though.

I don't know what they base that on though, I mean wouldn't Spain be at #1? They won the Euro and WC. I know they base it on international games so I'm assuming it's wins.

Meireles handed in a transfer request at the last minute (just like Torres did), and so Kenny couldn't do much with only a couple hours left. I wish he would have got Sturridge as part of the deal.

As usual plenty of Liverpool fans are bitter, but while I've lost respect for him due to the transfer request (not for joining Chelsea) I'm not going to hate him. He's served us well and I wish him well. Hopefully he doesn't throw an insult to us like players tend to do these days (Clichy and Nasri did it to Arsenal after they left, and Torres did it when he signed for Chelsea, but then took it back). When Gerrard comes back I don't see much space for Meireles anyway, our midfield was and is packed (and with talent).

Positives:

Degen's gone
N'Gog's gone (although I liked him)
Kygriakos is gone (although I liked him)
Insua's gone (I didn't mind him either)
Poulsen's gone
Joe Cole's gone (on loan, will be near retirement when he comes back)
Jovanovic is gone (he never settled in)
Konchesky is gone (Kenny threw him on loan as soon as he came and sold him when the Summer transfer window opened. He was awful)

Aquilani got loaned to AC Milan with them possibly buying him. I wouldn't call this positive yet as Aqua's a good player and I don't want to see him go, however he's like Meireles, he wouldn't have anywhere to go without dropping someone, and when Stevie's back there's no chance he'd get in. He's not part of Kenny's plans and so hopefully we'll get some of the £22m back that we paid for him.

We got Bellamy back. It's said to be a season loan, others say two seasons...we'll probably buy him at the end of it and he'll probably see out the rest of his career at Liverpool if it works out.

It's not a loan, or for a season, we got him on a free (which was the original deal) and he's on a two year contract. Good business I'd think!

During the transfer market we got Adam, Henderson, Downing, Enrique, Doni, Bellamy, Coates and a couple talented youths.

Some real good business by Kenny. Some questionable prices (I only slightly question Downing's price, while others are all against it), however that's modern football for you, and the fact that Hendo and Downing are English makes them more expensive.

Not much (if any) deadwood left at the club. Whatever is left will probably just be put in the reserves until January. I'm looking forward to seeing the bench this season too.

This is what you got on loan. :)

Yossi Benayoun Over Head Kick In His Own Face Chelsea

Shame we never got Yossi back. One of Rafa's biggest faults was wasting him.
