A much deserved win, in the second half though we should have pressed on and built on the 3 goals we got in the first half, but regardless we won and it's great that Meireles took on the role of Gerrard without complaining and did it perfectly. Nice goals from Johnson (from a Meireles corner), Kuyt (from a penalty) and Maxi Rodrigues (from a Konchesky assist).

West Ham didn't look like they turned up today, weren't much of a threat up front and gave us a nice clean sheet and we're now in 9th in the league and on -1 goal difference. Back in the day that'd be embarrassing but under Roy Hodgson that's an achievement.
