It's Gerrard's birthday today!

And what better way to spend your birthday than limping off in a friendly right before the World Cup?

Rafa is going! It has been confirmed that he is going, not necessarily being sacked but he and the board have agreed that his time is up. Purslov and Daglish are already scouting for new managing talent.

It's a shame that he's going, and at the same time a relief. He was a great manager who showed a lot of passion for the club, despite all the hate he's recieved from ''fans'', the media causing shit and them Yanks.

All them so-called fans should be proud of themselves. The man who got us the 5th CL, 7th FA Cup, nearly 6th CL and nearly 19th title has gone due to their awful support.

He could easily have gone to a team like Juventus, or CL winners Inter Milan and so many other places but he chose to continue to bring glory to the club yet the ''fans'' see pass that and just use him as a scape-goat.

I bet it won't take long for the new manager, whoever he is, to get the same hate as Rafa did this season if he doesn't win every single game next season.

Best of luck to Rafa, I'll always be faithful and forever grateful to him. The man's last words were ''You'll Never Walk Alone''.

I hope those fans piss off to Man U or something, they're not wanted here.

I agree.
I've hated Rafa from day one. Sure the positions he got us into are all well and good, but look at the state of the team he has left us. He's spent over £230,000,000, and left Liverpool as a two man team, which may very well become a 0 man team by the time the transfer window closes. Considering the state Liverpool are in now, I reckon it will be a good 5 years before we get back on track. A lot of people have looked at the injuries as an excuse for Liverpools bad season. There were many circumstances last season where Liverpool had a full team out and still played awful. Eventually Torres was the only injury we had.

He got rid of good players like Alonso and Arbeloa. Xabi didn't have any intention of leaving. He was approached by Rafa 2 years ago who tried to sell him to another club. Obviously, anyone in the right mind wouldn't be happy about this and would want to move at any chance they could get. In the end he filled out a written transfer request.

I remember when Hypia was leaving. He was sitting on the bench on his last game at Liverpool. Rafa promised him a cap, and yet when it came down to it didn't even take him off the bench.

Now we just have to get the other two fucks out and we're sorted.

Martin O'Neil for manager!

ronaldo was sold for 80 million , was the best player in world but fabregas is 1 year younger and is the best cm in world  :D
We all know that he is xpensive than 30 milions, but the point is he want to leave arsenal and come to fc.barcelona  ;)

Yeah! New start, new ideas and hopefully he'll give the players more freedom and play them in the position they're best at, and doesn't have that favouritism problem that Rafa had. Also I hope he gives Pacheco a chance, and the other class youths. Half of our youths kick the arse of the likes of Insua yet they never got the chance. Same for Aquilani.

Roy Hodgson's the new Liverpool manager! I didn't actually want him though, he's a nearly there manager. But I believe he can provide some stability in the club while we're getting rid of the Yanks and that Purslow cunt.

In Roy We Trust! (Cool, it didn't change!)

btw Munch, under Hodgson's command Fulham made it to the EL final, so he should do good in Liverpool ;)
