because a GTX 460 has a way better Performance/Euro than the HD5800 series.

2 graphic cards it's just waste. Better to buy the best from example readon or nVidia :))))))

Wrong. If you compare pure performance, AMDs best videocard is the 5970 and Nvidias is the GTX 295. Both of them consist of a 2-gpu-chip system, which is not different to two separate videocards.

Yes, if you only consider gaming performance.

For other stuff like PhysX, CUDA, D3D11, new standards and optimized v-memory usage the 400-series might be better, so it all depends on what you use the videocard for.
