Thats what I came up with although I didn't include a case/chassie, you can pick one for yourself seeing as they range from budget ones to expensive un-needed ones.

Didn't exactly know how to navigate the site properly so I just guessed what to click and it all went ok.

Yeah, thanks. That'd be enough for what I want?

So I went to the shop yesterday, and got some things with prices.

The post from Hitman should cost around 900 euro, here, it's around 1200.. plus that they didn't have half the stuff so they replaced it with some things. The list they made:

Intel Core i7 i-920 4x2.66GHz 8M, BOX - €299
MSI X58 Pro-E DDR3-1333 PCI-E ATX - €189
Coolermaster Centurion 5 Midi Tower - €49.99
6GB A-Data DDR3 Tripple Channel (3x2GB) - €99.95
EVGA GeForce GTX285 1024MB DDR3 PCI-E - €339 (399 if I'd get 2048MB)
SONY AD5200S DVD RW DL SATA OEM Zwart(<< black) - €19.99
CoolerMaster 700W Silent Pro Voeding(<< PSU) - €119.99
750GB Samsung SpinPoint F1 - €74.99

Total: €1191,91

After that, I went to another shop and asked for the same list, this what he gave me:

Case: Antec GamersGear 300
PSU: Cooler Master 620Modulair
MB: RAMPAGE II GENE
CPU: Intel Core I7 920 @2,67 Ghz
RAM: Corsair 6GB DDR3/1333 3Kit CL9
GPU: Asus Geforce GTX285 1024MB
HDD: Western Digital 640GB SATA2
Soundcard: Onboard

+ some stuff like burner / cardreader.

Total: €1199,-

And another they had there:

Case: JCP H996
MB: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R
CPU: Intel Core I7 920 @2,67 Ghz
RAM: Corsair 6GB DDR3/1333 3Kit CL9
GPU: Asus EN9500GT Magic 512MB
Soundcard: Onboard
HDD: Seagate 1TB Sata2 32MB
Cardreader: Sweex black OEM
DVD-burner: DVD-burner Sata

Total: €949,-

With this last one, if I changed the card from the 9500GT to the GTX285, it'd be like 200 euros more.

Can't GTX 260 run most games really good?

From what hitmans told me, with the GFX card, the GTX 285 would get more FPS than GTX 260, but what doesn't run smooth on GTX 260 wouldn't run much better on the GTX 285. And there a major price difference between 260 & 285. So imo I would go for a GTX 260 since it would be basically the same but just a little less fps but really good for saving. And you could spend the 90€ on something better for your computer.

heheh, stealing Hitmans fame :P

Them shops are overpriced, if you wanna keep in budget I would go for a HD 4870 graphics card or HD4870x2 which is roughly the same price as the GTX 285.

The HD 4870x2 is cheaper than the GTX 285 if you compare prices even though "Cool-prices.nl" doesn't sell them at that price anyway its apparently faster graphics card than the GTX 285 too.

@estroe its true, the GTX 260  is way cheaper then the 285 and is great too.

For your information, in CoD 4 on all settings at maximum i still get ~70-140 FPS everywhere, depends on where i am.

edit: just ran  a CoD 4 level with fraps benchmarking:

FPS Min:  97
FPS Max: 139
FPS Avg: 118.830

so basically ~120 FPS on highest setting everywhere.

( got quadcore 4x 3.6GHz, 8GB ram, GTX 260)
