i preordered KF as soon as i saw it on steam, nd wen it came out i had no regrets, it was cheap nd very worth it, i like it more than L4D, since L4Ds been borin for ages now... cnt b botherd to go into details bout KF, but its really fun, so go buy it nerds

L4D is still awsome, imo. You may think it will get boring since there aren't so much maps, but try going to www.l4dmaps.com, install some maps and get playing.

Yes, Killing Floor and Left 4 Dead are different, but the difference is clear in which one is better.

If you want a polished game with good gamemodes, then choose L4D.

If you want a intense,  fast paced shooter then choose Killing Floor. To a certain extent, KF is the most realistic of the two.

yh, id rather play somethin thats fast n intense which is fun, than somethin that might look gd, but its jus borin. L4D was gd for a while but now borin. KF has perks which u hav to level up, which does take a while... beatin the boss on normal isnt that easy (perks at lvl 1-2), beatin the whole thing on hard is really hard.. then u got suicidal which i havent playd but im guessin is impossible, unless everyone has lvl 5 perks, which wud take long to get unless u playd it shitloads. nd theres alrdy tons of custom maps for it. also the realism of KF (eg. no crosshair, use ironsights) makes it more fun

either way buy KF or DL it coz its worth it

Sounds like the game might run out of steam when you manage to achieve the top perks, the thing that keeps me to L4D are its 4vs4 matches which always become unpredictable and extremely intense with both sides planning out attacks on the fly. KF might be a good game, but its not the COOP that keeps me to L4D alone.

Also, knowing vavles track record, there will be updates coming for Left 4 Dead, and with the release of the SDK Mods galore for L4D as well.

No way, perks are just a small part of the game. It's so much faster than L4D and theirs always zombies to kill in their hundreds.

for some reason i dont find versus that fun on L4D, and the survival jus suks.. theres jus somethin about KFs gameplay that makes it really fun.. im not sure wot will happen wen u max ur perks... but theres always new maps comin etc, n u get 50-60 player servers where theres fukloads of zombies (specimens)... its a game to play wen ur bored and wanna get some fast intense zombie action
