So no i want a short specific answer. Why do i lagg badly in LVP when there is more than 45-50 players? But i can play completely without lagg in LW when theres 180+ players. Whats the difference between these two servers. It couldn't be the internet , because i live in Latvia wich isn't that far from Netherlands. My ping is a average of 75-85 in lvp and 95-110 in LW. So i don't get it. Why the laggs?

Dont flame me if I'm wrong, because I dont know a lot about servers, but maybe the LW server is hosted somewhere closes to your country?

If it was closer to my country than LVP , then i would have a better ping there. 75-85 > 95-110

One cause may be the areas of the map you are in.

Certain places of the map have more polygons to render. The more polygons, the more lag.

Try lowering your draw distance, and see if that helps.

Draw distance is set to minimum , FX-quality is low. Resolution - 1024x768. I don't use any mods. I bought a new video card a few months back (2-3). Have all the drivers for it. PC ram 1.25gb , 2.66gHz. Only thing i think could be wrong is that my windows hasn't been re-installed , ever!! But why the huge difference in LW and LVP. It couldn't be due to the DDoS attacks on LVP. Because i have this lagg already for quite a while now.

afaik LVP's gamemode is much bigger than LW's, which means you have to load more

OMG , then that means that in LVP 2.90 i wouldn't be able to play at all , because there will be alot more features. Right?

I play LVP with a 250-400 ping just fine. I'm sure it won't be a noticeable difference.

I play on 1600x1200 and everything on maximum (I could play higher but then I notice from time to time some fps lag or 'command lag') and I don't lag at all.

My ping is always around 80 even though I have mIRC clients opened, msn, last.fm etc..
