But let me give you some more advice. If you are going to buy the fz45, you can't upgrade any stuff.
So if you are planning to upgrade in the future(for example with your price money) it's better to buy the canon 1000D. So you can invest in better lenses, a professional lens on a low budget dlsr gives far more superior pictures than a crappy lens on a professional body. Ofcourse it's better to have semi-professional stuff. But if you are planning to upgrade take the 1000D, so you could upgrade to better lenses. And later on it's always possible to upgrade your body.
