Never tried vegemite, but have tried marmite. It's one of the bizarrest tasting things I've ever eaten. Can't say I really like it. I think it's passable if you put a tiny amount of it on a slice of cheese but otherwise it's waaaay to strong.

Two different things but somewhat based from similar thing, I myself like Vegemite and Promite
