Bananas were only expensive when we "ran out" and had a shortage so they imported some from Asia and charged a lot for them.
Most the "creepy crawlies" won't touch you unless you touch them or attack there nests and stuff.
The weather is Melbourne in whack! One minute (as I type) its beautiful and sunny! But the next it could be pissing down with rain.
