Got this game last day..so basicaly you make buildings and escape from mobs? thats it? And how the f- come these mobastards wake me up in a closed house?

Pretty much, you can change the difficulty level to "Peaceful" though and just create stuff. But personally I prefer survival. To get maximum safety when sleeping make sure you replace all the ground-blocks in the open area with wood or stone, not dirt, keep it well lit (of course), make sure there are no openings and place your bed at least one block away from a wall.
