It's possible that the BSOD is a result of faulty RAM chips, or two different ram chips being used together. That was the case with my old computer.

Did you buy the computer new from a supermarket, is it relatively old, or did you have it built for you? If it's one of the latter two, it's possible that it's a problem with your RAM. Try downloading MemTest from here and run a diagnostic to see if you get any errors.

If you bought it from a supermarket, this probably isn't the case.
